The first European convention on stratospheric aircraft (STRATOFLIGHT) will take place on 20 and 21 October in Avignon, France.
STRATOFLIGHT is looking to establish a roadmap for stratospheric aircraft development in Europe and to set up a solid base for European research and development projects in the field. After an introduction to stratospheric aircraft and the constraints of the stratospheric environment, three parallel workshops will cover aircraft, airships and energy and motors in more detail.
The event is intended for companies with an interest in stratospheric aeronautics, as well as companies with expertise in relevant technologies, research laboratories, design centres and aerospace operators.
