The CEMM (’Critical Events Management Model’) project will hold its final conference on 25 September in Rome, Italy.
The conference aims to illustrate the project’s scientific findings and to highlight the developments needed at the national and European levels in order to establish efficient and effective cooperation among actors during emergency situations.
In brief, the main topics of the conference will be:
– the model for an interagency organisational structure and the principles for dealing with major incidents;
– best practices for common processes and procedures which can be adopted at the emergency responder level.
The CEMM Final Conference will also allow discussion among international experts on future research topics connected to identifying common needs and developments.
The CEMM project is supported financially by the European Commission’s Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security – 2007 Programme „Prevention, Preparedness and Consequence Management of Terrorism and other security related risks”.
